Personalizing any gift makes it more fun to give and to receive. Sandra came up with this pattern to accommodate all the interest in personalized baby quilts/blankets. I made this quilt for her new baby, Avery (obviously, that's the name on the quilt). I had various family members sign their names on the squares, all Sandra's idea. She did the same thing for my baby boy a few months earlier, as shown below.
You can also have the name embroidered onto the quilt to get a more sophisticated look. Using different colors and prints, you can use your imagination to create just about any look you want.
